Wonton Fillings

Wontons are a Chinese dumpling, usually filled with pork and prawn. You can always substitute prawn for more pork or another ingredient. We hope you enjoy! 

Tip: We like to prepare the filling while the wonton dough is mixed and resting.

TRADITIONAL PORK & PRAWN INGREDIENTS:

  • 200g pork mince
  • 200g prawns, peeled and chopped (approx. half cm size)
  • 2cm piece ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 Tbsp GF soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1⁄2 tsp pepper
  • 1⁄2 tsp salt

 

Preparing your filling:

Mix ingredients together until it becomes evenly mixed and fairly smooth. Place in the fridge until you're ready to wrap your wontons.
