Gluten free fried wonton chips with honey glazed and garnished with hemp seeds. They are sticky, crispy, crunchy and delicious.
Enjoy as a snack or dessert.
INGREDIENTS
one packet of Wonton Wrapper Mix
6 tbsp of honey
1 tbsp of butter/ghee/dairy free butter
hemp seeds to garnish
frying oil of your choice
METHOD
- Prepare wonton dough as per packet instructions
- Cut the wonton chips in anyway way you like with a cookie cutter, can be triangle, stripe, round shape...
- Preheat frying oil to 180C in a large pot
- Add 6 to 8 wonton chips at a time. Do not crowd.
- Fry until golden (about 1 minute per side), turn chips over half way.
- Transfer on a cooling rack to drain the oil.
- Continue to fry remaining wonton chips.
- Heat honey and butter until all melted
- Brush the top of each wonton chips with the honey mixture.
- Sprinkle with some hemp seeds
*You can freeze the leftover dough
*Can be kept at room temperature for a few hours or best to refrigerate for a few days.
